United Way of Metropolitan Chicago
For more than 75 years United Way of Metropolitan Chicago has worked to identify and help solve our community's most critical problems. By bringing together people and resources, United Way improves the quality of life for children, families and individuals in need. Since the development of the T4T initiative in 1997, United Way of Metropolitan Chicago has housed the program at their offices at 560 W. Lake. They also offer support through supervision, community links, and in-kind donations.
IBM
Every year IBM supports T4T with a substantial donation, including high-end PCs and laptops. T4T then allocates this donation to Chicago nonprofit agencies in need through the T4T Rewards Program. To this day, IBM's generosity has benefited more than 150 agencies and is the primary driver behind T4T’s continued success in reaching out to the IT needs of the nonprofit community at large.
Deloitte
Since 2006, a team of consultants from Chicago’s Deloitte branch have provided guidance that speaks specifically to T4T’s development. In addition, Deloitte sponsors workshops to help T4T constituents advance their skills in technology and business operations. Deloitte has given generously to develop T4T’s growth strategy, marketing plan and Internet presence.
TECH Cocktail
T4T is the official charity of TECH Cocktail. This organization is a community-building startup founded in May 2006. TECH Cocktail offers events and community-powered projects open to bloggers, technology enthusiasts, entrepreneurs & professionals interested in technology in under-served technology communities.
